Some steam cleaners are equipped with ready light. The ready light will glow when the dry vapor steam cleaner is ready to be used. The steam will rise from the tube into the cleaning head. When it reaches the steaming head, the temperature will increase to approximately 230 °F.

The surface will be dry in a relatively short time. It will dry quickly because the most of the steam consist of dry vapor. There is only a small percentage of steam that has moisture.
